Alfalfa or lucerne is rich in vitamins, minerals and chlorophyll. Alfalfa is high in vitamin K, vitamin B6 and vitamin E. It was originally known as “al-fac-facah”, which translates as “father of all foods”, and is native to the Persian regions.
