Aloe Ferox (Cape Aloe), also known as bitter aloe, is a plant of the aloe genus native to South Africa. It is also known as the wild or red aloe, and highly prized gels and juices are extracted from the leaves of the plant.

Why doesn’t Aloe Ferox need filtering like the Aloe Vera plant?
Aloe Ferox is known for its strong leaves. The leaves of the plant are much stronger and therefore less sensitive to aloin. Therefore, Aloe Ferox does not need the same filtration as Aloe Vera. Aloin is an active component of the plant that can cause unwanted side effects such as electrolyte imbalance, diarrhoea and abdominal pain.
A freshly cut leaf of Aloe Ferox contains about 20 times more juice than the Aloe Vera plant.

Instructions
USE: Adults 2 tablespoons per day neat or mixed with water or juice. Preferably before a meal.
CARE: Store unopened bottle in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight. After opening, store in the refrigerator and consume within 6 weeks.
